Lucky Dip & Main Draws
These draws are played with 9 numbers. All players are given 9 randomly selected numbers when they join Lucky Phone that never change, these are their entry in all lucky dip draws. The main draw uses the last 9 digits of all telephone numbers activated by a player in numerical order. They are used in this way as the order of the numbers does not matter for these draws and for security reasons as the numbers are shown on the website as the winning numbers.
Each draw has a standard 'out of the hat' random entry chosen.
As the draw numbers are not randomly generated but are those from a players account this means there is a guaranteed winner for each draw (main and lucky dip).
The winners entry numbers become the 'lucky numbers' for that days lottery game to play against (see below for a full explanation of how to check your numbers for the lucky dip and main draws).
If another player has the same 9 digits in their lucky numbers (ie they have the same last 9 digits in their telephone number but in any order) they will receive points for doing so just as if they had 7 or 8 matches.
The winner chosen at random in every draw receives the prize fund for that draw and are not in the lottery as it is their numbers that are matched against meaning they would always have 9 matches. The winners username is shown on the check results page and also on the draw stats page.
How to check your numbers (lucky dip and main draws)
Once the lucky dip and main draws have been made if you are not the lucky winner draw at random all your entries are automatically entered into the lottery game for each draw you were entered into giving you the chance to collect points.
The idea of the game is to match as many digits in each of your entries to the winners 'lucky numbers' that have been drawn.
To easily check the site to see if you can collect any loyalty points all the work is done for you. Simply check on your own personal draws results page for any draws you were entered into to see if there is a 'Collect' button next to any of your entries.
You can also double check this if you prefer as the matches are calculated as per the examples below.
Example 1
The winners lucky numbers are displayed as:
1 1 1 1 1 2 2 2 2
If a players entry is '123456789' they would see the following when checking their results:
123456789
This would give the entry 2 matches which are shown as green balls.
Example 2
Lets look at the same numbers the other way around.
The winners lucky numbers are displayed as:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
If a players entry is '111112222' they would see the following when checking their results:
111112222
This would also give the entry 2 matches which are shown as green balls.
Please note: Even though the entry has multiple number 1's and 2's only the exact number of matches to the winners numbers are counted as matches.
In this example the winning numbers only have one number 1 and one number 2.
The Mega Draw
The mega draw is more like a traditional 'lottery' where 9 digits are randomly chosen.
The last 9 digits of a players telephone number are used in this game in the order they appear in the original telephone number. The players telephone number is checked against the 9 digits drawn at random and the number of matches are the number of same digits in the same position.
If there are any winners in the mega draw the players can claim the prize fund on their check results page as normal, apart from the 2 highest tier claims which we will verify by contacting the winning telephone number.
Mega draw example
The 9 randomly selected numbers are displayed in the order they were drawn, for example:
9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
If a players entry is '978651234' they would see the following when checking their results:
978651234
This would give the entry 3 matches which are shown as green balls.
Please note: Even though both numbers have exactly the same digits in them only the digits in the same positions are counted as matches.
